If you plan on using the final images as a gift, it's best to book at least 3 months in advance to account for editing, product design, and printing.
2. WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?
The majority of our sessions take place in our cozy in-home studio nestled in the heart of Madison, WI. Hair and makeup is done right on location, so you don't have to worry about anything other than showing up. Learn more about what to expect from your session here!
3. DO YOU PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP?
Of course! We're delighted to offer you a pampering experience when you come to our studio for your photo session. You'll be treated to professional makeup application and dry hair styling that will leave you feeling confident, radiant and ready to rock your session.
You might not need any fuss to look great in your photos, but we're here to pamper you and help you feel your very best. Being a full-service studio means all YOU have to do is show up—we'll take care of the rest.
4. DO I HAVE TO GET NAKED?
Not at all! There is absolutely no pressure to remove any clothing layers that make you feel uncomfortable. Whether you prefer a subtle, minimalist-style photoshoot or you are ready to embrace your session and ditch your clothes, the choice is entirely yours. We respect and honor your comfort level every step of the way.
5. WILL YOU HELP WITH POSING?
Rest assured, you will never have to wonder what to do with your facial expressions or know where your hands are supposed to go. You can expect receive TONS of encouragement and direction during your photoshoot. You’ll be guided through every pose, from the top of your head to your fingertips.
Just make sure to get a good stretch in the morning of your session, and the evening after—posing is more of a workout than you anticipate.
6. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR... WILL YOU HELP?
We're here to guide you every step of the way, starting with wardrobe selection.
As soon as you book your session, we'll provide you with our signature wardrobe prep guide, complete with links and references, to help you find the perfect pieces to flaunt your body. Plus, we'll create a shared Pinterest board where we can visualize the style and aesthetic of your shoot together.
Lastly, you’ll be able to message us at any point leading up to your photoshoot—feel free to ask us anything, anytime.
7. WILL YOU SHARE MY IMAGES?
Not unless you want us to! We hold your privacy in the highest regard and firmly believe that you should have full control over how your boudoir images are used and shared.
Whether you opt for a full release, partial release, anonymous release, or no release at all, we will honor your wishes with the utmost respect. Your comfort and peace of mind are our top priorities.
8. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
While the total cost will depend on your purchasing decisions, the session fee is $349 and includes:
Professional hair + makeup
Prep guides
Pose coaching
90 min of shooting time
3-4 outfit changes
High end retouching
The session fee does not include photos or prints, as all photos and products will be available for purchase separately—we offer a variety of different collections, prints, albums and wall art which are completely customizable to your personal preferences and creative whims.
Our clients typically spend anywhere between $699 to $5,299 with us. Some women come and just get a simple folio box, others come and literally want it all and invest several thousand $$$ on a variety of products. The good news is that it’s completely up to you.
