Let’s be clear: that thing you’re most insecure about?

It doesn’t make you less beautiful. It makes you human.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Mel is the phenomenal. I haven’t taken professional photo ever, and generally am more comfortable taking them vs being the subject. I was pretty picky about who I wanted to work with for various reasons and her portfolio fit what I was looking for immediately.

After a few pretty crazy years I decided to treat myself for my birthday and get some photos done. I reached out, she responded quickly, consultation when super well very easy and everything was explained well. Day of went amazing. Makeup was fun, she got me feeling less like a potato and more like a baddie. Posing was so easy and fun. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out let alone the wonderful experience with Mel.

If you’re interested in a shoot and are feeling hesitant I recommend her. She makes you feel very at ease and the whole process is so easy and a lot of fun to get ready for. She got the vibe I was going for down so well and we had so much fun. Will be recommending to everyone 🖤

Her makeup artist is an absolute gem as well!

My only advice is save more cuz you’ll want more pics than you think 😂

Yesterday I met a barista who asked if I'd ever heard of aura photography...

It sounded intriguing... but I'd never heard of it.

So after a quick Google search and a short conversation, I discovered that aura photography is "based on the belief that all living beings, including plants and animals, have an energy field that surrounds their physical body. This energy field is said to contain information about a person's emotions, thoughts, and overall well-being."

As you might be thinking, the science-y side of it pretty much baseless BUTTTTT WAIT WAIT before you run off and say that its hocus pocus bs...

After sharing the barista's words with strangers for the rest of the day, I offered impromptu aura readings as I "spidey-sensed" them.

From Associated Bank's pastel blue John to the bubbly pink Mara and deep indigo bluish/purple of Ricardo, to the cool barista blue of Simone and the chocolate-y, earthy brown of Paela the real estate agent, I haven't been able to stop seeing color radiate off of people in soft waves ever since.

The craziest part is that ALL OF THE PEOPLE AGREED WITH THE COLORS I WAS SEEING.

Of course, they could've just been entertaining my latest fascination...

But then again... What if I'm on to something?

Ha, nah.

It's baseless...

Right?

But wait... Hear me out...

(cough cough) as an ARTIST... I do have to say that the concept hits.

I'm inspired y'all.

So what do you think though... Do people give off colorful frequencies or is it all just floof?

And better yet... What color do you hope you're giving off? 👀
