Q: What initially inspired you to book a boudoir session?

I wanted to do something very special for myself for my 50th. I felt it was a way to pay homage to my body, in a way that was loving and beautiful!

Q: How did you feel leading up to your shoot day?

I was so so excited. A little bit of anticipation stress getting outfits, but very much looking forward to the day and the experience!

Q: What was your favorite part of your experience?

Oh my goodness, hard to say, alll of it! Melonie was born to do this! I felt free and comfortable, relaxed.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

I was truly stunned. I looked beautiful, just like I felt during the shoot. My husband did the reveal with me and seeing his reactions was gratifying.

Q: Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

It was far more than I expected! I couldn’t have imagined that I would be captured in such a way. Again, Melonie is so skilled and professional and personable. She was such a cheerleader through the whole thing.

Q: Would you recommend the Mizztique Boudoir Experience to others–and is there anything you'd change or add next time?

Yes I tell everyone that will listen! I can’t think of anything to change.

Q: What would you say to someone nervous about booking their own session?

I would say it is totally normal, and to breathe and let go. Melonie got you! You are in safe trusting hands and you are going experience fabulousness!

Q: Anything else you'd love to share?

I am so thankful I did this for myself. At 50 you feel and experience so many memories, you have so many scars and you have wonderings about who you are and what lays ahead and judgements about your body. If you want to look all that in the face and stand you your womanhood in love, in knowing you are fierce and soft, don’t hesitate! Book it now!
